Follow the biblical stories in the Old Testament and their relationship to the cultures of the ancient Near East.  We will cover the growth of monotheism through Abraham's Journey; the Exodus from Egypt; Kings and Prophets in the First Temple period; Jerusalem in the days of David and Solomon; Elijah's war against the worship of Ba'al; Isaiah, Hezekiah and Sennacherib's campaign against the kingdom of Judah; the Second Temple period, the time of Jesus; the Roman-Byzantine period and the Bible in early Christian art.

The tour also includes a visit to the special exhibition "The Three Faces of Monotheism", illustrating symbolism in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
