Grilled Chicken with Silan Sauce

Serves 10



20 Chicken Thighs, deboned



1 cup frozen orange juice concentrate

2 cups water

¼ cup soy sauce

1 tsp black pepper

½ tsp curry powder

1 tsp ginger



1 ¾ cup Silan date syrup

1 tsp black pepper

¼ tsp ground red chili pepper

4 Tbsp olive oil

6 Tbsp ketchup




1. Blend all the marinade ingredients and marinate chicken thighs for two hours.

2. Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade.

3. Grill chicken or bake in an oven that has been preheated to 450F for about 30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.

4. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over the cooked chicken.

5. Serve with steamed rice.
