Visitors center and archaeological garden where some of the ancient remains of Jerusalem, from the fourth millennium BCE until the Byzantine period, were discovered. In the excavation area, which is open to visitors, the foundations of a terraced stone building from the Jebusite period (11th-12th centuries BCE), were discovered, preserved up to a height of 13 meters, as well as the remains of a residential quarter, that was destroyed with the Destruction of the First Temple, and the remains of the city wall and its towers from the Second Temple and Byzantine periods. |
