Yardenit is the unique and registered site of baptism for Christian pilgrims, at the place where the Jordan River flows out of the Sea of Galilee and into the Dead Sea.


Yardenit is a crossroad for many pilgrims, one among other holy places around the Sea of Galilee, such as CapernaumTabgha and the Mount of Beatitudes.

Every year, over half a million tourists from all over the world visit the site.
