Rigoletto

Director David Pounteny brings this popular Verdi opera to the Israeli stage, with a cast of international singers and the Israel Opera choir, conducted by choir master Yishai Steckler and accompanied by the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Letzion.
The story of a court jester who forbids his only daughter to leave the house, except for Church on Sundays. At church she meets her father's employer, the seductive Duke of Mantua, who disguises himself as a poor student.
Sung in Italian with surtitles in English and Hebrew. ​
