The Israel Philharmonic hosts Haris Alexiou

One of the leading singers of Greek music, who has earned the nickname “high priestess of Greek song.” Her career began back in the 1970s, and she is renowned for the different styles she sings, including Latin beats, flamenco, pop, rock, blues and jazz. Her songs have been translated into Hebrew and sung by Israeli singers such as Yardena Arazi.​
