The winery was established in 2000 and is located on the Givat Oren – Meister Winery site, near Hatzor Haglilit. The winery founders are the fourth generation to the founders of Gei Oni and the Rosh Pinna moshava.
A visit includes a tour and stories about the site. The visitors can see an orchard, ancient wine presses, a petting farm, a lookout point and memorial which tell the story of the battle which took place here in 1948 between the Palmach’s 3rd Battalion, under the command of Mula Cohen, against the Syrian forces commanded by Adib Shishakli.
In the winery situated in a cave the visitors will hear about the wine production process and enjoy tastings of wine, liqueurs, olives and olive oil produced at the site.
Every day, 9:00 – 17:00, by prior arrangement.
