Mitzpe Revivim

Revivim Observatory is one of the three lookout points established in the summer of 1943 by the Jewish National Fund in order to assess agricultural and climactic conditions in the Negev before founding new settlements. The some 30 founders of the community lived in the observatory area until 1950. It is surrounded by communication trenches and guard posts. In the yard is a plane that used to bring weapons and supplies to Revivim during the siege on the kibbutz.
